Therapy that doesn't
look away.

No scripts. No performance. No glossy reframes that leave you exactly where you started. This is real work — relational, existential, and direct. We go toward the hard thing, not around it. If you're ready to actually meet yourself, I'm ready to be there for that.

I'm Nattalie.
I won't look away.

I don't believe in performing wellness. Therapy shouldn't feel like a transaction — a polished exchange where you leave with a coping strategy and nothing has actually shifted. I believe in the slow, sometimes uncomfortable work of becoming more yourself.

My approach is existential and deeply relational. What happens between us in the room matters — and I pay close attention to it. I'll name what I notice, sit with you in the parts that feel unbearable, and push back when it serves you. Warmth and directness aren't opposites here.

I work with adults who are done pretending things are fine. Who want more than symptom management — who want to understand themselves at a deeper level and live with more honesty and freedom. That's the kind of therapy I do.

Modalities I Work With

Gestalt Therapy

A here-and-now approach that focuses on what's happening in the present moment — how you think, feel, and relate right now — rather than just analyzing the past.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. A research-backed method that helps your brain fully process stuck traumatic memories, often faster than talk therapy alone.

Somatic Experiencing

Therapy that works through the body as much as the mind. It tracks physical sensations to gently release trauma that gets stored in the nervous system.

Existential Therapy

Explores the bigger questions — meaning, identity, freedom, mortality — and how they quietly shape everyday struggles. Helps you live with more intention and honesty.

Relational Therapy

Uses the relationship between therapist and client as a living example of how you connect with others. What happens between us in the room becomes part of the work.

What I offer

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions tailored to your history, patterns, and goals. Available in-person and via telehealth. 50-minute sessions, weekly or bi-weekly.

Couples Therapy

Exploring communication, intimacy, and conflict with your partner in a safe, mediated space. Designed to rebuild connection and break unhelpful cycles.

Trauma-Focused Therapy

Using EMDR and somatic approaches to address stored trauma. Paced carefully and compassionately at your readiness.

Telehealth Sessions

Secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions available to California residents. Same depth of care, from wherever you are most comfortable.

Anxiety & Depression

Evidence-based and depth-oriented support for chronic anxiety, depression, and low self-worth. Building insight and practical tools in parallel.

Life Transitions

Support through grief, identity shifts, career changes, relationship endings, or major decisions. Finding footing when the ground has moved.

For Clinicians

Gestalt therapy
for therapists.

The people who hold space for others often have the hardest time finding their own. I offer Gestalt therapy specifically for therapists, trainees, and other mental health professionals — a space where your clinical identity doesn't get in the way of your own healing.

You know too much to pretend. That's exactly why this work is different. We move through that knowing and into what's underneath it.

Whether you're navigating burnout, your own relational patterns, or simply want the kind of depth you offer your clients — this is for you.

Ongoing

Gestalt Process Group

A present-focused, experiential group drawing on Gestalt principles — exploring how we think, feel, and relate in real time. Emphasis on awareness, contact, and authentic expression within the group dynamic.

Ongoing

Interpersonal Processing Group

A relational group centered on how we connect and disconnect with others. Participants use the live group experience to examine interpersonal patterns, practice vulnerability, and develop deeper self-understanding.

8-Week Cohort

Grief & Loss Group

A closed, carefully held group for adults processing grief in all its forms — loss of a person, a relationship, a sense of self, or a life once imagined. Structured with room for the non-linear.

Group therapy offers something individual work cannot — the corrective experience of being truly seen by others who understand. Within a facilitated container, you can practice connection, voice difficult truths, and witness others do the same.

All groups are small (6–8 participants), carefully screened, and structured with clear therapeutic goals. A brief individual consultation is required before joining any group.

Sliding scale rates are available. Please mention your interest when you reach out.

Inquire About Groups

Common questions

I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse a portion of out-of-network mental health care. I recommend calling your insurer to ask about your benefits before we begin.
There is no set timeline — it depends on your goals, history, and how you respond to the work. Some find significant relief in 3–6 months. Others engage in longer-term work over several years. We'll check in regularly about pace and fit.
I ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full session fee, as that time was held specifically for you. Life happens — we can discuss exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
I hold a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please mention this in your inquiry and I'll let you know what's available. Group sessions are also offered at a lower rate than individual work.
The first session is a mutual assessment — you're getting a feel for me as much as I'm getting to know you. We'll talk about what brings you in, what you're hoping for, and some background. There's no pressure to share everything at once. By the end, we'll decide together if it feels like a good fit.
Yes. HIPAA-compliant video sessions are available to anyone residing in California. Many clients find the flexibility of telehealth valuable, and the depth of work is the same as in-person.
